Beykoz is being as the most beatiful and the greenest county in Istanbul ,is also known as the birth place of Turkish glass industry. Glass production in Beykoz started from 17th century  and after the foundation of Turkish Republic, first modern glass factory has been founded in Beykoz Pasabahce.

With the supporting power of Pasabahce factory, all houses in the town turned into glassware workshop.

Nowadays quantity of the workshops decreased ,because of the tecnologic developments and ccustomer preferences about decors.
